North Dakota State Powerlifting Meet
at the Minot YMCA April 18, 2009
The 2009 NASA sanctioned North Dakota State Championships was held at the beautiful Minot YMCA. We several new lifters from Bismarck, Fargo,Grand Forks, Edgeley, Valley City and Devils Lake. We had a host of new state records and a handful of American records broken. We had some lifters that could not make because of the flooding in ND. We had very good quality lifting this year and hopefully they will only get better as the years go by.

Josiah Roise had a outstanding 159 lb curl!
It was good to see M3 Lee Tangelin back to
lifting again after a long layoff. Great job, Lee!
Master 3 lifter, Keith Berger had another good
day. Keep up the good work, Keith.
Grand Fork's Craig Meiers setting an American record with an
outstanding 614 deadlift. It was also Craig's first meet! WOW
Colin Enz of Fargo deadlifting 584 lbs. This was Colin's

David Peterson of Edgeley had good day with a 402 deadlift
plus 330 bench press. David is just 15 months out from his
